Junior Achievement's BizTown is a hands-on educational program designed to provide young students with a simulated real-world experience of running a town and its businesses. In this interactive learning environment, students take on various roles such as business owners, employees, and consumers, allowing them to develop essential skills in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and teamwork. They operate their own businesses, manage finances, and make economic decisions, gaining practical knowledge about economics and the business world while having fun in a safe and educational setting. Junior Achievement's BizTown is a valuable program that helps prepare students for future success in the world of work and commerce.

Nazir and Mary Ansari Business Leaders Award

In honor of Drs. Nazir and Mary Ansari's exceptional service to the business community, Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada will recognize business leaders at the annual Hall of Fame Gala with the Mary and Nazir Ansari Business Leaders Award beginning in 2021.

Fairways to Financial Literacy

  Where: Grizzly Ranch Golf Club

 When: Friday, May 30, 2025 10:30 AM

The Junior Achievement Golf Tournament, Fairways to Financial Futures, is an annual event supporting financial literacy education for local youth. Held at the prestigious Grizzly Ranch Golf Course, ranked the #1 course in the Sierra Nevada, the tournament will take place on May 30, 2025. The day features a 10:30 AM registration, a 12:00 PM shotgun start, and a chance to enjoy a beautiful course while raising funds for a great cause.

Blockbuster Bowl-a-Thon

 When: Saturday, February 01, 2025 11:00 AM

Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada's annual bowl-a-thon will be held at the iconic National Bowling Stadium on February 1, 2025. This year's event embraces the magic of cinema with a movie theme, encouraging participants to dress up as their favorite film characters for a spirited costume contest. The event promises a fun atmosphere for friendly competition, with proceeds supporting Junior Achievement's mission to inspire and prepare young people for success.
